About the role
The Client Director is accountable for a client portfolio of trust, company and/or private office activity and is expected to lead the delivery of client relationships and associated work.
They will balance leading the team, developing a growing book of business, and delivering the associated client administration. With extensive experience and a broad network within the industry and across a range of intermediaries, the role holder will help grow the Accuro business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the provision of a quality service (trust and company administration, fiduciary services and/or private client work) to targeted clients through developing and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Revenue generation and profitable delivery of client service through efficient delivery of client work, appropriate delegation within the team and accurate recording of time allocation, and eventual billing to the client.
- Identifying opportunities and assisting in the implementation of new business ideas, leading to the development of new streams of income from current clients.
- Being financially savvy, with the ability to make business decisions based on connection of client fees, revenue, profit, impact of debtors, WIP, billing and new business generation.
- Making sound data driven financial decisions.
- Developing skills and network to generate profitable new business from intermediaries and direct from clients – including the development and delivery of pitches and negotiation on fees structures.
- Providing leadership, mentoring, performance management, coaching and direction to the administration teams to ensure quality of service, and career progression for colleagues.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of business processes and ways of working to improve operational efficiency of client work and Accuro business.
About you
- You will have a sound knowledge of the global economic climate and its impact on clients and the industry.
- Demonstrate excellent relationship management skills – the ability to create and maintain strong relationships, understanding clients’ needs, wishes and interests as a starting point for enhancing and developing long-term mutually beneficial relationships.
- Apply a sound knowledge of fiduciary functions, investment products and principles, accounting, commercial law and asset management principles, and able to provide technical advice to team members.
- In-depth regulatory knowledge – you will ensure that all business is conducted within the rules, guidelines and expectations of the local regulator.
- In-depth knowledge of all aspects of company and trust administration, including nuances and statutory requirements of the major offshore jurisdictions used in connection with clients’ structures.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of trust and tax law.
